Dear Friend of the RK:
Please join us in celebrating the Christmas holiday season by helping the RK Nursing Home Foundation light its tree with bulbs dedicated to love. This is our 28th Lights of Love Campaign. Through your generosity, our annual fundraiser has helped to improve the quality of life for RK residents for more than two decades.
Over the past several years, our campaign has supported such projects as construction of a Four Seasons Sunroom / Greenhouse and a dementia friendly garden. Funds raised have also provided much-needed equipment such as Easy Lift Chairs and Mechanical Lift Slings.
Our theme this year for the Lights of Love is “Resident Mobility Companions” of the RK MacDonald Nursing Home. This will allow residents to leave the facility and experience outings around the community.
Your generosity in previous years has done so much to improve the RK residents’ lives and we ask your support this year in our mission to make their daily experiences as rich and full as possible.
We extend our best wishes for the Christmas Holiday season and hope you will be able to join us at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Following prayers, dedications and carols, refreshments will be served in the RK Dining Room. All dedications will be entered in a “Lights of Love” memorial book that will be on display in the RK Chapel throughout the coming year.

The Lights of Love Campaign
Enhance the Journey of Life
Each year, during the month of November, the RK Foundation carries out its Lights of Love fundraising campaign with a specific project in mind. The campaign culminates with a special ceremony held in the RK Chapel at 2:00p.m. on the first Sunday of December.
Individuals can make a donation by purchasing a light on the RK MacDonald Christmas tree. There is no limit to the number of lights a person can purchase. Tax receipts are available upon request, and cards can be sent to individuals in whose name you have made a donation. Contributions can also be made in memory of loved ones who have passed.
